Stephen Harlow ChFC

Steve Harlow, a graduate of Lewiston High School, earned both his Bachelor's and Master’s degrees from the University of Maine in Orono. During his time at UMaine, he was an Academic All-American and a key player on the 1974 Yankee Conference Football Champions team.

In 1979, Steve joined Acadia University in Canada as a player/coach, helping lead the team to win the Vanier Cup, Canada’s National Collegiate Football Championship.

Steve has taught and coached at various institutions including the University of Maine, Acadia University, Maine Maritime Academy, and local high schools. After 15 years in education, he transitioned to the financial services industry in 1990, founding Harlow Financial Associates in Eliot, Maine.

Steve's teaching background helps clients feel at ease while he educates them on personal finance, focusing on the four phases of retirement planning: asset accumulation, pre-retirement planning, lifetime income distribution, and tax-efficient asset transfer.

Steve holds the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF) designations. He is actively involved in the community, participating in organizations such as the Financial Services Institute, Biddeford-Saco Chamber of Commerce, Biddeford-Saco Elks Lodge, Saco River Corridor Commission, Waterboro Parks and Recreation Committee, and serves as the Town of Waterboro Youth Program Director.

Patrick Chevalier III has always been deeply interested in economics and the stock market, which led him to pursue a BBA in Finance from Business School. During his time in Retail Management, while working his way through college, Patrick developed a passion for serving others and building strong relationships. This passion, combined with his financial expertise, drove him to transition into financial advising to help members of his community achieve their financial goals.

Patrick holds a Series 7 and Series 66 license, along with Texas Life, Accident, and Health Insurance Licenses, further solidifying his commitment to delivering comprehensive financial advice. He also completed the Board-Certified Financial Planner Education at the University of Texas at Austin, enhancing his qualifications to provide personalized financial planning solutions.

After gaining valuable experience with one of the major U.S. wirehouses, Patrick expanded his knowledge by working at a Family Practice Registered Investment Advisory firm. With over five years of financial planning experience and a strong foundation in personal finance education, Patrick earned the trust of his clients and eventually founded Chevalier Wealth & Associates.

Today, Patrick continues to distinguish himself through his personalized, client-centric approach. He believes that his combination of financial expertise, professional certifications, and dedication to service sets him apart from others in the field, as reflected in his high levels of client satisfaction.
